Dova is a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company developing treatments for patients suffering from orphan diseases. The company’s lead investigational compound, avatrombopag, is in the process of completing two pivotal Phase 3 clinical trials researching its use as a potential treatment for thrombocytopenia in patients with chronic liver disease undergoing an elective procedure.  For more information on the company visit

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop marketing materials aligned with launch strategy from creation through approval. Collaboration with other company departments, including clinical, regulatory, quality, and research and development will be required
  • In preparation for launch, the Product Manager will take the lead in working with internal personnel in marketing and reimbursement and externally with an agency to deliver market access marketing materials for the provider-facing field reimbursement team
  • Upon launch, create and implement tactics to drive sales in the US, and work on pipeline projects as identified
  • Ensure strategic alignment, timely deliverables and budget management with Agency and Vendor partners
  • Create relationships with KOLs, industry, and vendors
  • Conceive post-market studies to generate data to enhance product perception/ benefit
  • Maintain presence in the field among customers and representatives to closely monitor product reception and use of promotional materials, and using intelligence from field to evolve strategy and messaging
  • Facilitate product forecasts in collaboration with sales and finance
  • Present marketing ideas and strategies to further advance the success of the company’s product lines


Skills/Knowledge Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 4+ years product management experience and 2+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Excellent attention to detail in order to complete tasks independently
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills in order to develop strong connections
  • Good computer skill set with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to offer ideas and create solutions proactively
  • Ability to travel approximately 30-40%
